FAQ's

Do we need to have any prior experience?

Not at all! Our classes are designed for complete beginners. We’ll guide you through every step of the process and teach you the essential techniques, so you can enjoy creating your own beautiful glass designs—even if it’s your first time.

Are these experiences dangerous?

Glassblowing does involve working with molten glass heated to around 1200ºC, so there is an element of risk. However, your safety is our top priority. We’ve implemented thorough safety procedures and provide full guidance throughout the experience. With over 700 glassblowing sessions completed and zero injuries, you can feel confident that you’re in safe hands.

What should we wear to a glassblowing experience?

All workshop attendees must wear sturdy, flat footwear for safety. We recommend a short-sleeved t-shirt or similar (avoid nylon materials), along with jeans, trousers, or shorts—whatever you’re most comfortable in. Due to the heat of the working environment, breathable, natural fabrics are best.

Long hair must be tied back, and you’re welcome to bring your own sunglasses if you'd like. If you wear contact lenses, please let Stuart know before the session begins.
